Shay’s coat is considered a “broken coat” not quite smooth and not quite wire either. He loves sleeping on the bed and snuggling on the couch, he doesn’t realize how big a boy he is. He is very clever and has figured out how to open the baby gate I have to the bedrooms with his front paw. He also opens the door when he wants to come in from outdoors and rings a bell to let you know when he has to go outside.
He is a big, goofy puppy in a 4 year old body! While he is a very sweet boy who loves to snuggle, he really loves to play. Chew toys are his favorite. He is very popular at daycare and is getting more comfortable meeting people though he still shows some signs of stress of his previous kennel life. He plays well with my dogs and seems to do best with females. His training has paid off as he no longer ‘counter surfs’ and was crate trained. Shay also did some obedience training.
