Club Awards
IHCUS supports several awards. Eligibility is retroactive to the inception of the Club. Specific information on each award is available through the navigation links on the right. Application forms should be completed as instructed and sent to the Awards Committee for consideration.
Registry of Merit
The Registry of Merit (or ROM), is awarded to dogs and bitches that have produced a number of titled offspring (conformation or performance). The Wikipedia website contains a well written description of breed registry and merit.
Hall of Fame
The Hall of Fame includes dogs that have achieved outstating results in either conformation or performance.
Versatility Gold Cup
The Versatility Gold Cup recognizes those dogs that have earned three (3) or more titles. It acknowledges well-rounded dogs that excel in multiple events.
AKC Outstanding Sportsmanship
This award is offered from the AKC through parent clubs. The AKC has provided general guidelines for this award. Implementation and use of the award is left to the discretion of each club. The award is being reviewed by the IHCUS awards committee.
